“Talking to The Ancestral Plant” is an international documentary project by Veronica Marcovich that aims to raise awareness about environmental responsibility as well as to explore the intersection between social imbalances that threaten communites and ancestral knowledge.
This documentary will be woven from the intersection between art, botany and ethnology which will be developed during the visits to the places where the plants are found and will be the material for this documentary film.
The documentary is now in the funding process and have received support from the University of Barcelona and the Association of Colombian Cycades, a group of scientists who are conducting research on the subject of the film.
